Purchase gift cards to local stores, restaurants, even service places for oil changes, etc. for gifts for the holidays and birthdays. Something that is free (outside of your time) and can definitely help a small business is to engage with them on social media. Like, comment or share on platforms that allow. Leave reviews on places like Yelp and Google. Tag your favorite businesses in a post when someone is asking for a recommendation.
