Why do I shop local? Let me count the whys...
1. I shop local to support my friends and family who own and operate their own business
2. I shop local because more of the money I spend stays within the community in which I live and work
3. I shop local because the knowledge, expertise and personal service is by far superior to the chains and box stores
4. I shop local so my downtowns don't become ghost towns
5. I shop local because it the local businesses that support the fundraisers and sponsor the sports teams
6. I shop local because it is encouraging and supporting someone's dream
7. I shop local because it saves gas or shipping fees
8. I shop local because I know if I need customer support or have a problem with a product I can actually have a person to talk to about getting it remedied
9. I shop local to support the economic development of my community (my community being the town I live in, the town I work in, the towns nearby)
